Summary: The UF Hockey Club was invited to participate in the 2025 Battle at the Beach Hockey Tournament and needed new jerseys that fit the tropical theme. The wave pattern I created helped boost the team’s confidence and made them stand out from their competitors in style.

Process and Refinement
When creating this pattern, I was greatly inspired by “The Great Wave” woodblock print by Hokusai. I redefined the waves to fit a sporty context by making them more minimalistic, bold, and sharp.
Finished Vector Pattern
I used a lighter, more turquoise blue for the waves instead of UF's traditional dark blue to fit the tropical theming and make the design compete less with the text on the jerseys.
